Petrocosta's new physical supply venture with Dan-Bunkering in Cartagena, Colombia will also help the suppler expand operations to other ports in the country, Petrocosta's Commercial Director Antonio H Reinoso has told Ship & Bunker.

"It is with great pleasure that Petrocosta has entered into a new commercial partnership with Dan Bunkering," said Reinoso.

"This will allow Petrocosta to continue to grow and strengthen its position for bunker supply in Cartagena, and restart supply in Barranquilla and Santa Marta where we have not been supplying for the past three years."

As Ship & Bunker reported on Wednesday, under the partnership with Dan-Bunkering, Dan-Bunkering will handle all sales and will provide risk management, while Petrocosta will handle the sourcing, blending, supply, and storage of the products, as well as handling the sales for a group of its existing clients.

"We want to assure all our clients that this new venture will allow us to serve all in the best possible way with competitive prices, quality of product, and on time deliveries," Reinoso added.

Petrocosta supplies a full range of IFO products as well as MGO, and operates a fleet of four bunkering vessels ranging from 350 to 1,300 metric tonnes (mt) in capacity.
