Mexican supplier Navalmex Combustibles (Navalmex) today announced that on October 28, 2016 it marked its 20th anniversary with a dockside Mexican flagging ceremony of its new bunker tanker Beraca at Manzanillo.

The supplier says the new vessel raises its capacity at the port to 5,400 metric tonnes (mt), and "underscores the company's longstanding commitment to Manzanillo's strategic position for reliable bunker supply between Panama, Long Beach, and Asian ports."

Additionally, Navalmex says that as part of its fleet expansion program it will also deploy the 5,800 mt capacity bunker tanker Angimar on Mexico's Gulf coast, which will commence service at the port of Veracruz in December.

"Together Beraca and Angimar are expected to further consolidate Navalmex' dominance of the Mexican bunker market," the supplier said.

From its Mexico City offices, Navalmex says it provides ISO8217:2010 compliant supply on the Pacific at Ensenada, La Paz, Topolobampo, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Lazaro Cardenas, Acapulco, Huatulco, and Salina Cruz.

Gulf coast service centers include Altamira, Tampico, Tuxpan, Veracruz, Coatzacolacos, Frontera, Dos Bocas, Ciudad del Carmen, Ceiba PlayaProgreso, Puerto Morelos, and Cozumel.
