Tanker Arrested in Singapore

A 26,000-DWT chemical tanker has been arrested in Singapore due to a claim from a cargo owner, reports Tradewinds.

The Panama flagged Ginga Lynx, operated by Tokyo Marine Asia, was arrested last weekend on a warrant issued on behalf of legal firm AsiaLegal LLC.

There was no word on the arrest being related to the ongoing OW Bunker saga, which has seen the seizure of a number of ships in the city-state.
