Japan's Bonded Bunker Fuel Sales Grow 9% in October

According to information from Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), bonded bunker sales in the country reached 2.678 million barrels during the month of October, up 9 percent compared to September and 14.1 percent year on year, reports Platts.

Meanwhile, Japan's bonded marine diesel oil sales saw a 12.3 percent drop from the previous month, declining to 17,202 kiloliters, or 108,201 barrels, during October - still a year-on-year increase of 63.5 percent.

Japan is noted to have imported 5,057 kiloliters, or 31,808 barrels, of bonded bunker fuel oil in October, a 0.8 percent from the previous month.
