Handymax Bulk Carrier Arrested in Singapore

A Handymax bulk carrier was arrested in Singapore Sunday morning, according to the latest records from the Supreme Court of Singapore.

The 1995-built Hong Harvest was arrested at 9:40 a.m. on March 5, 2017 following action by Clasis LLC, records show.

Data from VesselsValue.com indicates the 42,500 DWT bulk carrier is controlled by Hongyuan Marine Co Ltd (Hongyuan) and has a market value of $2.83 million.

The circumstances leading to the arrest are currently unknown, but such action is common in instances of payment dispute.
