An Indonesian-flagged very large crude carrier (VLCC) has been arrested in Singapore after allegedly failing to pay SGD 1.67 million ($1.3million) for bunkers, Tradewinds reports.

The Arenza XXVII, owned by Indonesia-based Soechi Lines, is the seventh ship to be arrested in Singapore so far this year.

The ship was reportedly arrested by Singapore’s Admiralty Sheriff on Tuesday after a warrant was issued on behalf of Ang & Partners LLC.

The ship is currently thought to be moored off the city-state’s east coast.

Late last month, it was reported that Singapore saw a decline in ship arrest activity, having slid by half over the past two years.
