Arrested Bulker Put to Auction in Singapore

The 81,000 DWT bulk carrier Maverick Gunner, which was arrested in June, has been put up for auction in Singapore, according to the latest records from the Supreme Court of Singapore.

As Ship & Bunker reported in July, the 2010-built Maverick Gunner, was arrested on June 22 following action by Asia Practice LLP.

VesselsValue.com indicates the bulk carrer is controlled by Greece-based Efploia Shipping and valued at $13.06 million.

The net value of bunkers and lubricant onboard the vessel is $168,019.00, and must be paid for at value by the vessel purchaser, notes the court.

Bids, along with a deposit of $50,000, must be submitted no later than 3 p.m. on December 19, 2016.
