The current tightness for 380 cSt product in Colombo will be eased Friday, local sources have told Ship & Bunker.

A tanker is set to arrive Friday, after which cargo avails are expected to return to normal.

Demand for the product is also reported to have been good, with some players saying they are booked for deliveries through to the end of the week.

IFO380 product in Colombo is currently indicated at $250 per metric tonne, according to Ship & Bunker data.

In December Ship & Bunker reported bunker suppliers at the port had received a boost thanks to a 13 percent increase in total ship arrivals during the first 11 months of 2015.
