China International Marine Containers Co., Ltd (CIMC) has secured a deal to deliver two liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks for a $1.46 billion liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in Zhoushan, China, which is intended to be used for cargo and bunkering purposes upon beginning operations next year, ShipInsight reports.

The 160,000 m3 tanks are set to be delivered to ENN Group's LNG fuelling terminal project in 2018 by CIMC Enric Holding (CIMC Enric), CIMC's equipment manufacturing unit.

It is reported that the design, procurement, and construction work for the tanks will be completed by CIMC Enric subsidiaries, Nanjing Yangzi Petrochemical Design Engineering Co Ltd and TGE Gas Engineering GmbH.

The LNG terminal is expected to handle 10 million metric tonnes (mt) of LNG per year upon completion.
