Russian bunkering firm YugBunkerService Group says it has added a new oil storage barge and a new bunkering tanker as it moves to expand its fleet.

The storage barge, UBS-1, is intended for storage and carriage of light fuels at inland waterways.

The bunkering tanker is a low-tonnage ice class vessel, named Viktor Fesenko, with separated cargo tanks to carry both light and heavy fuels.

Both vessels will join the YugBunkerService's fleet operating in Rostov-on-Don, Azov, and Taganrog.

The 17-year-old company has a fleet of 13 vessels, as well as storage and loading terminals, in southern Russia.

Last year, the company added bunkering service in the ports of Saratov, Syzran, Volgograd, and Astarakhan, according to a press release at the time.
