KPI Bridge Oil today announced that it has promoted Mark Perrins, a senior trader in the London office, to the position of Trading Manager.

The position of Trading Manager is noted to be a new role in the office created by James Enston, Managing Director of KPI Bridge Oil London, and is intended to boost business development in the context of the current challenging market.

"Mark has proven himself as a highly proficient Trader, and more recently, an effective Team Leader. I am very pleased that he has accepted this new role and I have no doubt that he will challenge himself, and the rest of the London trading team. I look forward to working more closely with Mark," said James Enston, Managing Director of the London office.

As part of fulfilling the Trading Manager role, Perrins will provide support to product and service enhancement for KPI Bridge Oil London's offering to clients and business partners.

"I am pleased to accept the new position of Trading Manager and I look forward to taking a leading role in developing business as well as working with existing traders in the London office to maximise KPI Bridge Oil's potential," said Perrins.

Perrins is noted to have joined KPI Bridge Oil as a Bunker & Lubricant Trader in 2009, and was promoted to Team Leader in 2012.

"Mark's promotion is not only well deserved but it is also a great opportunity to enhance the dynamic of the London office and inspire teamwork amongst the traders. I am pleased that the London office has promoted Mark, and will offer both him and James support to further develop the London office," said Carsten Ladekjaer, CEO of the KPI Bridge Oil group.

Last month, KPI Bridge Oil announced that it had hired Elina Apostolakou as a bunker and lubricant trader at its Athens office.
