New Physical Player Enters Black Sea Bunker Market
A new physical bunker supplier has entered the Black Sea bunker market, having begun operations this week in Romania.
Trident Oil Energy (Trident Oil) has begun bunkering at Constanta Port, as well as the satellite ports of Agigea and Mangalia, sales manager Bogdan Burgui told Ship & Bunker.
Initially, emission control area (ECA) compliant 0.10 percent maximum sulfer MGO is being delivered ex-truck, and Burgui says Trident Oil is looking to expand its offering to include HFO in 2017.
Next year the supplier will also look to making deliveries ex-barge, he added.
"We are a small but dedicated team being highly specialized in bunkering needs at Romanian ports, having together over 15 years of experience in physical bunker supply," said Burgui.
