Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic says Port Vladivostok bunker sales during the January-November 2016 period, including those at Vladivostok offshore terminals, were down by more than 900,000 tonnes year on year, IAA PortNews reports.

Total sales during the period amounted to 343,000 tonnes, with approximately one third of that volume sold at the offshore terminals.

Of the 343,000 tonnes sold, 250,600 tonnes was HFO, while 15,900 tonnes of the balance was attributed to diesel sales.

The number of bunkering operations completed during the 11-month period saw a relatively smaller level of decline, falling to 2,962 during January-November 2016 from 3,338 during the same period of 2015.

Bunker sales from the port’s offshore terminals during the month of November are reported to have totalled 6,700 tonnes, while sales at the port itself amounted to approximately 22,700 tonnes.

In October, Ship & Bunker reported that sales volume at Vladivostok for the nine months to September 2016 declined to almost a third of what it was in the same period of 2015.
