Gazpromneft Kicks Off Bunker Supply Agreement with First Delivery to FSUE Rosmorport Vessel

Gazpromneft Marine Bunker (Gazpromneft) has announced that it has completed the first bunkering operation under a new agreement with FSUE Rosmorport, which provides for the delivery of about 15,000 tonnes of fuel within three years.

The bunkering operation is noted to have been completed in the Port of Arkhangelsk, and saw Gazpromneft deliver 2,600 tonnes of fuel to the icebreaker Kapitan Dranitsin.

"Efficient service and uninterrupted supply of marine fuels is one of the basic conditions for the development of the Northern Sea Route," Andrei Vasilyev, CEO Gazpromneft.

"The new agreement with a leading operator of icebreaking fleet contributes to the solution of the problem to ensure the implementation of the infrastructure projects of the Arctic."
