Press Release: BMS United Bunkers Warns on Name, Logo Similarities With New Asia Based Player
PRESS RELEASE
BMS United Bunkers previously operated in Asia under the name "United Bunkering & Trading (Asia) Pte Ltd" ("UBT"):
It has recently come to our attention that another company has started operating in the bunker industry under an almost identical name – "United Asia Bunkering & Trading", with several ex-employees of UBT. The said company's colour scheme and logo also bear a resemblance to that of UBT's:
Due to the similarities in name, colour scheme, logo and personnel between UBT and the said company, there is an implication or likelihood of confusion that the said company is associated with, connected to or approved by UBT.
For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to clarify that there is no such association, connection or approval whatsoever between us and the said company United Asia Bunkering & Trading.
