Glander International Bunkering (GIB) has taken legal action against Panamax bulk carrier Newlead Victoria as it seeks to recover $62,000 in unpaid bunker bills, according to a report by Tradewinds.

Data from VesselsValue.com indicates theĀ 76,000 dwt 2002-built vessel is currently at anchor in Singapore and valued at $5.41 million.

She is owned by Greece-based Newlead Holdings, and said to be carrying coal valued at $7 million.

GIB joins a number of other parties seeking payment from the vessel, including German bank Portigon who is seeking $26.2 million in unpaid loans against the vessel.

The crew are also reported to be planning to take legal action over some $330,000 in unpaid wages.
