Brent Up on Ukraine - Russia Tensions

Brent increased today as geopolitical risks and rising tensions escalated between Ukraine and Russia.

Western powers are contemplating implementing tougher sanctions against Russia and we can expect that any sanctions will cause Brent to spike.  

U.S. crude rose modestly after positive retail sales data signaled a rebound in the U.S economy and a potential climb for oil demand.

Bunker markets firmed throughout the day.
