Intertek ShipCare Awarded "Supplier of the Year"
Global fuel testing agency Intertek on Thursday announced it has been presented with the "Supplier of the Year" award during the recent Incentra General Council Meeting (Incentra) in Asker, Norway.
Intertek noted it was the fifth award in the category it has received from Incentra in the past six years.
"This is a great honour for Intertek ShipCare, formerly Lintec Testing Services Ltd. We humbly thank Incentra for this recognition," said Steve Bee, Global Business Director, Intertek (Lintec) ShipCare Services, who along with Mark Hancock, ShipCare UK Laboratory Manager, was in Norway to accept the award.
"We endorse Incentra's vision of developing long-term partnerships with suppliers who provide high quality added-value services, backed with a commitment to corporate social responsibility."
Incentra SA is a marine purchasing organisation, with a current membership of 44 Norwegian-based ship owners, ship managers and rig companies.
Earlier this month Intertek announced it had opened a new petroleum laboratory in Morocco serving the Straits of Gibraltar.
