The Curaçao Ports Authority N.V. (CPA) says its has signed a renewed agreement with Curaçao Oil N.V. (Curoil) which secures the provision of bunkering services at the harbours of Curaçao.

"The renewed agreement is a modernised version of the previous one and reflects the responsible manner in which CPA manages commercial developments within the ports," said Humberto de Castro,CPA’s CEO.

CPA notes that it currently has bunker berths in the St. Anna Bay channel and the Megapier - and soon at the new Megapier 2 - from which Curoil supplies all fuel oil grades and gasoil.

"With the renewal of the agreement, both companies look forward to further strengthen their business relationship, consequently securing provisioning of quality services from the ports of Curaçao," said CPA.

Last year, Ship & Bunker reported Curoil had been receiving more international business, including an order for five million litres of diesel delivered to two drillships owned by Transocean Ltd.
