Curoil's First Inshore Aruba Bunkering a "Step Forward Towards Market Expansion"

Following the December launch of both onshore and offshore fuel supply operations at Aruba, Curacao Oil NV (Curoil) today said in an emailed statement that it successfully completed its first inshore bunkering operation in the harbour of Oranjestad, Aruba "with great success."

The supplier's first client to take advantage of the new service was named as Pullmantur Cruises, with the bunkering of M/S Monarch taking place on January 13, 2014.

"These are exciting times for Curoil. With the first inshore bunkering in Aruba, we are putting one more step forward towards market expansion in the Caribbean, while remaining committed to offer the same high level of service and high quality of products our clients are accustomed to," commented Yamil Lasten, Managing Director of Curoil.

Curoil said its operations now cover the territorial waters of the Dutch Kingdom's Leeward Islands Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao (ABC Islands) with supply of a full range of fuels and lubricants from its 6,854dwt double-hulled tanker Zeta 1.

The supplier today also announced the expansion of its fuel trading team.
