Experienced Trader Joins BMS United Bunkers in Piraeus

BMS United Bunkers Thursday announced in an emailed press release that Maria Karagianni has joined the Group as Senior Bunker Trader located in Piraeus, Greece.

Karagianni was said to have more than 26 years of experience within the Industry, having spent most this time with BP where she was an Account Manager handling the Mediterranean Portfolio, and will help the group further develop its growing portfolio of regional and international accounts.

"I am excited to make my next career move with BMS United Bunkers, one of the top global players in the marine fuel industry. I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues and contributing to the collective efforts of the the trading teams," commented Karagianni.

I'm confident that Maria will play a key role in providing exclusive marine oil solutions for our clients."

BMS United Bunkers has a team of more than 40 traders located in Piraeus, Buenos Aires, Limassol, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Dalian, and says it aims at being one of the top five bunker & lubricant trading groups in the world by 2020.

Earlier this year BMS United Bunkers announced the promotions of Eleni Karlafti and George Makrakis to Senior Bunker Traders.
