New Senior Bunker Trader & Team Leader at Dan-Bunkering in Copenhagen
A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd (Dan-Bunkering) today said effective May 1, 2013 Michel Dominique Thomsen has been employed as Senior Bunker Trader & Team Leader at the company's office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The company said that Thomsen is a former employee, having started his career in the bunker business with them employed as a Bunker Trader between 2005 and 2010.
Thomsen left Dan-Bunkering to pursue a career as Sales Manager at another bunker company in South America, which according to his LinkedIn profile was with BMS Bunkers in the Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires.
"It is with great pleasure that we welcome back Michel to the Dan-Bunkering group after having spent almost three years abroad," said CEO Henrik Zederkof.
"The experience and knowledge that Michel has gained while acting as Sales Manager in South America will definitely be a great asset for both Michel himself and our group in general, and as he is already familiar with Dan-Bunkering from his previous employment with us, I am confident that he will quickly adapt to his new position as Senior Bunker Trader & Team Leader.”
Thomsen is the second former employee this month to rejoin Dan-Bunkering, following last week's announcement of Carsten Ladekjær's appointment as head of operations for Europe/Asia.
