CEPSA Marine Fuels (CMF) announced in an emailed press release today that in response to market demand, from November 10, 2012 it is to start the supply of RMK 500 in the Canary Islands.

The high viscosity product will be available in Santa Cruz de Tenerife port, where the appropriate storage facilities and operational requirements have been put in place.

CMF said it "has experienced a great success" since it started selling RMK 500 in Algeciras, where the firm's parent, Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U. (CEPSA) has a refinery that produces the product.

CEPSA has a second refinery Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as well as a third in Huelva.
