KPI Bridge Oil Monday announced that it has hired Elina Apostolakou as a bunker and lubricant trader at its Athens office.

"I am delighted to have strengthened our team with the appointment of Elina. She has great knowledge of the Greek Shipping market and I am confident that she will add significant value to the development of our office," said Michalis Manassakis, Managing Director of KPI Bridge Oil Greece.

"The employment of Elina is part of KPI Bridge Oil's long term objective to expand our operations here. Since establishing our office in Greece last year we have seen a significant growth in this key market and we are now working to further enhance our service offerings to clients in the region."

Apostolakou is said to have joined the group earlier this year after spending several years in the shipping industry in London, and is noted to hold a Bachelor's degree in Management and a Master degree in Shipping, Trade, and Finance - both from the Cass Business School.

"It is a great pleasure for me to join this dynamic and highly motivated team in Athens," said Apostolakou.

"I am excited by the new challenges this position offers and I look forward to contributing to the enduring success of the office and the wider KPI Bridge Oil Group."

Last year, KPI Bridge Oil said its office in Greece is part of the group's broader growth strategy and desire to further develop its key markets.
