VPS Hires New Managing Director for Americas
Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) has hired Michael McNamara as its new managing director for the Americas, the company has announced in an emailed release.
McNamara was previously the associate vice president of energy management at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, in addition to having worked for 11 years in the oil and gas industry prior to that.
“We are very pleased to have Michael onboard as he brings with him broad industry experience, high analytical skills, leadership capabilities and a wide range of functional skills,” said VPS CEO Eirik Andreassen.
"I have long been a customer of VPS and look forward to contributing to its industry-leading quality work, said McNamara.
"These are very dynamic times in the marine fuel and broader maritime industry, and I am confident that the entire VPS organisation is best positioned to assist its customers in managing the risks associated with these changes."
He begins his position on January 12, 2015.
