World Fuel Services Looking to Hire 70 in Costa Rica
Costa Rica's Ministry of Foreign Trade (COMEX) says that bunker industry giant World Fuel Services (WFS), is looking to hire 70 personnel as part of a company expansion in Costa Rica set for next year, local media reports.
WFS' Costa Rica office, located west of San José in Lindora, is said to provide a wide range of services to the company's business activities in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, for both the maritime and aviation sectors.
WFS says it is looking to hire those that are fluent in both English and Spanish with business administration, accounting, and finance experience.
The company's expansion plan is said to come alongside news that the Costa Rica location has achieved positive results since its opening in 2009.
Currently, WFS is said to employ 130 workers overall, and has intentions to begin 2016 with 200 employees.
Earlier in the month, it was reported that WFS is attempting to recover almost $500,000 in mostly bunker related debt from Nova Star Cruises.
