Global Risk Management says it has expanded its team in Singapore as a result of "increased trading activities and a fast-growing client base."

Nicholas Foo has joined the hedging solutions company as Oil Risk Manager Trainee, and will be responsible for advising and selling fuel trading and risk management solutions to customers exposed to the oil market in the Asian as well as Middle East areas.

Foo, who is fluent in English and Mandarin, comes from a position as Oil Risk Manager and Technical Analyst at an unnamed commodity trading company.

"We trust that Nicholas will contribute to the continued positive development of our office in Singapore," says Hans Erik Christensen, Managing Director, Global Risk Management.
