Glander International Bunkering Welcomes New Traders in Singapore, India
Glander International Bunkering (GIB) this week has welcomed two new bunker traders Jacky Nguyen and Abhinav Chaturvedi at its offices in Singapore and India respectively.
Nguyen joins with 13 years experience in the bunker industry, is a native Vietnamese speaker and also speaks English, and was said to have "great experience" of supply in all Vietnamese ports as well as others in South East Asia.
"Glander International Bunkering prides itself in its long standing history of having outstanding employees who can speak various languages. Jacky Nguyen who not only has years of experience trading globally also has the ability to communicate and negotiate in two languages," said Christoffer Berg Lassen, Managing Director and CEO of the Glander International Bunkering group.
"Jacky's knowledge sharing will be an advantage to the company due to his comprehensive understanding of Vietnamese culture and ports."
Chaturvedi, meanwhile, was said to have three years' experience, particularly with East Coast Indian ports as well as those in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Dubai.
He speaks English and Hindi.
"Abhinav will not only be an asset to our India office, his knowledge and skill will benefit our global company as a whole," said Lassen.
"Glander International Bunkering has had great growth over the last year," added Lassen.

Both new hires were formerly employed at now-bankrupt OW Bunker, and the appointments were originally announced in December 2014 along with 8 other global hires.
