New Regional Bunker Manager For Bomin
Bomin Group Tuesday announced that Andrew Laven has joined as Regional Manager Middle East & Africa.
With the appointment effective May 10, Laven will report to Jan Christensen, Head of Global Bunker Operations.
"Andrew comes with extensive market knowledge and experience in the region which he largely gained as Vice President of BP Middle East," said Bomin.
"Andrew will be based in Dubai and he and his team will be responsible for further developing and growing bunkering activities in the region."
According to his LinkedIn profile, Laven was most recently Vice President Upstream Services and Downstream Trading at Cyrus Group of Companies.
Christensen, previously a regional manager for the Group, was appointed as the Group's Global Head of Bunker Operations last month.
