ExxonMobil Insight: Part 2 - ECA Fuels [ Video ]
ExxonMobil has developed a series of videos in which it examines the impact that ECA regulations have had on the use and management of marine fuel and lubricants.
Ship & Bunker has partnered with ExxonMobil to bring you the full "ExxonMobil Insight" series.
Here, in the second of the series, ExxonMobil discusses how its Premium ECA fuels can help operators to comply with sulphur emission legislation.
In the coming years ECAs are expected to increase in numbers - with China's recently announced ECA a case in point - and there is a global sulfur cap of 0.50 percent expected in 2020. This video also takes a look at ExxonMobil's research and engineering facility at Paulsboro, New Jersey, which has not only produced the ExxonMobil's ECA fuels for today, but is also preparing for the fuel challenges of tomorrow.
