Puma Energy, a subsidiary of commodity trading firm Trafigura, has announced that it is now supplying bunker fuels in Puerto Rico in the Caribbean through its local entity, Puerto Rico Energy LLC.

The company can deliver bunkers across the island by barge, pipeline and truck, it said in a LinkedIn post yesterday.

“Puerto Rico Energy pairs on-island strength - terminal storage, island-wide delivery, and local commercial support - with international sourcing and a full range of high quality marine fuel grades,” the company added.

“For customers, that means one supplier for every port call in Puerto Rico.”

Trafigura took control of Puma Energy in 2021.
