New Jersey-based marine fuels firm Plaza Marine has expanded its team with three new hires as it looks to broaden its services to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region

Dana Truxell and William Ridnour have joined the commercial team, focusing on sales and operations in Norfolk, Virginia, Baltimore, Maryland and other areas, the firm said in an emailed update on Thursday.

Both bring decades of industry experience.

Daniel Torba has joined the finance team to support the company’s expansion.

Torba will support the finance team as Plaza Marine pursues further expansion.

“Dana Truxell and Will Ridnour bring their decades of experience and stellar reputations to our sales and operations teams,” William G. Gotimer, Jr., president of Plaza Marine, said.

“The opportunity to add respected industry veterans to our company and improve our offerings to our customer base at the same time will provide significant benefits to all affected.”

“Plaza Marine usually has a policy of promoting from within but the chance to align our company with two industry veterans was too good to pass up. We are committed to continuously improving the service our customers want and need,” Peter M. Proscia, CEO of Plaza Marine, said.

Plaza Marine provides bunkering services across the US Northeast, Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and eastern Gulf Coast, as well as in Panama.
