Brightoil's Head of Fuel Oil Trading in Singapore Resigns
Thursday April 2, 2015
Ong Eng Hian, the head of fuel oil trading at Brightoil Petroleum Holdings [HKG:0933] (Brightoil) in Singapore, has resigned, Reuters reports.
Ong is reportedly leaving after two years at Brightoil to establish an energy desk at a smaller-scale trading house that also deals in commodities.
It is unclear when his last day will be.
Junior derivatives trader Lionel Kong also reportedly left the company around the same time, though details of the departure are unknown.
Reuters said both Brightoil and Kong were unavailable for comment.
It was announced in 2013 that Ong had been hired as head of fuel oil trading, after stints as a fuel oil trader for FAL Oil and Koch.
