New Bunker Barge for Zak Bunkers

Pakistan based Zak Bunkers has expanded its fleet of bunker barges, the supplier announced in an emailed press release.

The self propelled bunker barge Al Ahmed V has a capacity of 550 metric tonnes (mt), 500 mt for IFO bunkers and 50 mt for MGO.

"The Addition of new Bunker Barge in our Fleet will strengthen our Bunker Operations at Pakistani Ports," the company said.

The addition takes the total number of barges owned by Zak Bunkers to six - AL-Ahmed I, AL-Ahmed II, AL-Ahmed III, AL-Ahmed IV, AL-Ahmed V, and Navera.

Zak Bunkers says it currently operates at the Pakistani ports of Karachi and Bin Qasim.
