BUNKER JOBS: Arkas Bunker Seeks Senior Sales and Trade Specialist in Istanbul

Turkey’s Arkas Bunker is seeking to hire a senior sales and trade specialist in Istanbul, Turkey.
The company prefers candidates with a minimum of six years of experience in maritime or sales, it said in a LinkedIn job advertisement last week.
The job description is as follows:
- Assist the Bunker team on all general administrative duties involved in bunker sales and trade from A to Z.
- To keep up to date with market and industry changes and trends, as well as global regulatory changes.
- To act as a solution provider for a client base with existing and potential clients, arranging bunkers globally
- Manage client portfolio by negotiating and executing trades, as well as handling operations at post-fixture.
- Close cooperation with the logistics department to secure timely and effective bunker delivery.
- Monitor competition within major accounts.
- Ensure that all systems are updated at all times and data is easily accessible for statistics and benchmarking.
