Augusta Energy Opens New African Physical Bunker Supply Operation

Geneva-based Augusta Energy SA (Augusta Energy) has launched a new physical bunker supply operation in the Mozambique Channel, the company has told Ship & Bunker.

Augusta Energy says that, along with its representative office in South Africa, SMK Atlantis Shipping, it now provides service to meet clients' bunkering needs both in Port and offshore on the East Coast of Africa, Mozambique Channel, Madagascar, and Mauritius.

In September, following its African regional forum, the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) said "real opportunities" exist in Africa's evolving bunker market for those willing to invest time and resource to overcome the obstacles.
