Gazpromneft Marine Bunker Ltd (Gazpromneft) says the 2017 cruise season will mark the 10th season that it has cooperated with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCL) to supply the cruise operator with bunkers.

"The long-term interaction with the shipowner global level confirms the status of our company as a reliable supplier," said Andrey Vasiliev, Director General of Gazpromneft Marine Bunker.

"Our priorities - strict compliance with international standards in the preparation and execution of bunkering fuel and high quality and perfect fulfillment of contractual obligations."

During the 2017 summer season, Gazpromneft says the cruise operator will receive up to 45,000 tonnes of bunkers.

The start of the supply season is said to have been marked by the delivery of 1,100 tonnes of fuel to RCL's ship Serenade of the Seas by Gazpromneft East on May 7.

As Ship & Bunker reported in November, Gazpromneft said it delivered more than 32,000 tonnes of bunkers to RCL in St Petersburg during the 2016 cruise season.
