JMU and Aluship to Partner on LNG Fuel Tank Production and Sales in Europe

Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU) has announced that it has signed an agreement with Poland's Aluship Technology. Sp. z o.o. (Aluship) to manufacture and sell self-contained square type IMO type B (SPB) liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel tanks for the European market.
"The SPB system is a highly reliable technology with features such as high degree of freedom of tank shape, no restriction on volume, no sloshing, etc.," explains JMU.
JMU says it is planning to continue to expand its SPB system manufacturing base, with the new agreement expected to provide the company with a competitive edge that will better enable it to expand such production and sales beyond of Europe in the future.
