Propel Seals Partnership with Foreign Company for Nigerian Bunker Business
Nigeria's Propetrol Limited (Propel) says it has finalised plans to partner with a foreign company on its Nigerian bunkering business, according to local media reports.
While the reports did not name the foreign business partner, the companies' cooperation is said to be intended to support the expansion of Propel's business into new physical locations.
"Today, we are one of the leading indigenous players in the bunker supply sector in Nigeria, providing services to leading IOCs, NOCs, MFOs, rigs, platforms and PSVs, dredging companies, vessels on Nigeria waters, marine equipment," said Harry Ebohon, CEO and Managing Director for Propel.
"In a consolidation of our market leadership in this niche, we have entered into a partnership with international corporates to offer even more robust services to our customers in markets where we are not physical. We shall be making announcements in this regard in the coming weeks."
