Global marine surveyors Petro Inspect today have announced the expansion of its operations with the incorporation of two new companies, and the appointment of a President for its global operations.

The new Petro Inspect Europe Ltd locations have been incorporated in Gibraltar and Amsterdam, while Mr. Jeroen de la Bella will head up not only the European operations but has also been named as the President of the Petro Inspect Group of Companies.

"Jeroen has brought with him a discipline for providing 'more of the same but doing it better', driven by a desire to produce greater levels of efficiency," says Kaivan H. Chinoy, owner and founder of Petro Inspect Group of companies.

"I have no doubt that Jeroen's experience would be indispensable to the European bunker market in particular. With Jeroen at the reigns of global operations, I would be able to concentrate more on creating a bigger growth platform, maintaining existing client relationships as well as bringing new business to support the company's ambitions and goals."

Jeroen, an established marine surveyor and a lab technician, has held various positions in the Dutch Navy at sea and onshore, and in management positions where he established new offices for multinational surveying companies.

"With the inception of AVA Marine Group Inc. in 2012 and Bunker Detective in 2013, followed by a name change to Petro Inspect for better brand recognition, the Petro Inspect Group of Companies now has a presence in 10 strategic locations providing near-global coverage," Chinoy concluded.
