Bunkering operations are up and running at Durban in South Africa following storms earlier in the week.

The port was closed yesterday and has partially reopened today with limited vessel movements as high winds are still in evidence, according to sources in the port.

However, bunkering is taking place.

"We are working hard to get that done," bunker sources told Ship & Bunker.

Severe weather hit the South African port Tuesday causing three ships to be grounded, flooding and general chaos.
