Northwest Europe's biggest bunker market was flat at the end of the week, market sources said.

Certainly, the hoped for bounce at the Dutch bunkering hub on the back of yesterday's OPEC meeting failed to materialise although some players retained their optimism.

"The market looks strong," said a bunker trader. "The bulls are in control but dormant today."

Another trader said the market was "quite flat".

The key bunker fuel grade of 380 CST at Rotterdam was seen at around $347-$348/metric tonne in early afternoon trading with marine gasoil reported at around $540/mt.
