Italy's Port of Augusta Tight on Low Sulfur MGO: Reports
Wednesday May 4, 2016
Southern Italy's Port of Augusta is currently experiencing dwindling low sulfur marine gasoil (LSMGO) supplies, and it is unclear when the port may be resupplied, according to market sources quoted by Platts.
One source is said to be expecting a cargo to arrive as early as the weekend, while another source said that they had availability as product had been sourced from elsewhere.
The port's current low availability of MGO for use in blending is also affecting avails of 180 cSt product, sources added.
