Burando Energies Appoints Head of Market Risk
Marine fuel supplier Burando Energies has appointed a head of market risk in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Tue Jensen has joined the firm as head of market risk as of this month, the company said in an emailed update on Thursday.
Jensen had previously worked at Maersk Oil Trading as head of market risk from January 2023 to July 2026.
He has also held positions at Rosneft Deutschland, Oil Brokerage, Unioil Supply, Peninsula Petroleum and O.W. Bunker, among others.
“Disciplined risk management is what has allowed Burando to grow with confidence, and Tue’s appointment underlines how seriously we take it,” Ruben Blok, CEO of Burando Energies, said on his appointment.
“I’ve known and respected him for many years, and I’m delighted to welcome him to the team.”
“I look forward to working with the team to further develop the market risk function and support Burando's continued development and international expansion,” Jensen said.
“A special thank you to Ruben Blok and Burando Atlantic Group for the trust and opportunity.”
“I’m excited to contribute to Burando Energies' next phase of growth and the opportunities ahead. Here we go!”
Burando Energies supplied approximately 30% of all biofuel blended marine fuel and B100 volumes bunkered in the port of Rotterdam in the first half of this year.
