Verde Marine Energy Adds Dedicated Barge for HSFO Supply
European bunker supplier Verde Marine Energy has added a bunker barge for HSFO as it expands its marine fuel operations across the ARA region and the UK.
The move follows the start of its collaboration with Sunoco Marine Ltd on October 1, which was announced previously, it said in a LinkedIn post today.
“VME has recently expanded its barge fleet with additional fully equipped bunker barges to serve clients in Flushing, Ternuezen, and Ghent,” the company added.
“The company has also strengthened its position in the biofuels supply market, successfully delivering thousands of metric tons of B100 to customers across the ARA region by barge and truck with the addition of Sustainability expert Christian Sterken."
The company has also strengthened its team with two appointments from Melroh Trading BV. Robbert Huizer joins as Head of Sales, while Tim Visser takes on an operations and sales role.
