The American Club Releases New Module of E-Learning Tool for MARPOL ANNEX VI
The American Steamship Owners Mutual Protection and Indemnity Association, Inc. (the American Club) Tuesday released the final module of its Clean Seas: Complying with MARPOL 73/78 series e-learning series.
The new MARPOL Annex VI - Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships module is available to members here.
"Members are reminded that all e-learning modules are accessible anywhere there is a connection to the internet. This makes it easy and convenient for seafarers to study the subject matter before they join their ships," said the American Club.
"The system also includes a secure online testing facility. Members can track their seafarers’ knowledge and keep up-to-date records of familiarization training in compliance with both the STCW Convention and the company’s safety management system requirements under the ISM Code."
