Crude Benchmarks Start the Week Soft

Crude benchmarks were soft in early morning trade as the dollar rallied around a combination of international economic concerns and the potential for US interest rate hikes.

China's growth may be stagnating due to industrial overcapacity and mounting debt while Britain may vote to leave the European Union.

Both benchmarks rallied a bit from session lows as the dollar's strength waned.

It may be a sign of a volatile week to come.
