Uni-Fuels Posted 58% YoY Growth in Q1 Marine Fuel Volumes
Marine fuels trading firm Uni-Fuels saw its marine fuel volumes increase 58% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026 as commercial activity expanded across key markets.
Bunker volumes rose to more than 140,000 mt in the January-March period, it said in its first quarter results published on Tuesday.
First-quarter revenue increased 64% year-over-year to $83.2 million, while gross profit climbed 85% to $1.8 million.
Gross profit margin improved to 2.2% from 1.9% a year earlier.
Despite the stronger operational performance, Uni-Fuels reported a net loss of $376,087 for the quarter, compared with a net profit of $83,513 in the same period of 2025.
“Operational performance remained strong, although quarterly results were impacted by a net loss primarily attributable to corporate communication expenses incurred during the period,” Koh Kuan Hua, CEO of Uni-Fuels, said.
Following the stronger-than-expected first quarter, Uni-Fuels raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $320-340 million, up from its previous outlook of $310-330 million.
“We are encouraged by a promising start to 2026, which reflects the continued execution of our growth strategy,” Hua said.
