Ahti Integrates With DNV's Veracity for FuelEU Pooling
FuelEU pooling and compliance service provider Ahti Climate has integrated its FuelEU pooling platform with DNV’s Veracity, allowing verified emissions data to move directly between the two systems.
The integration is designed to reduce manual work for shipowners and operators handling FuelEU Maritime compliance, Ahti said in a statement on its website on Monday.
Fuel consumption data can be converted into the required OVD format and sent to DNV for verification through Veracity.
Once the data is verified, the emissions figures are transferred to Ahti’s FuelEU pooling platform.
Finnish shipping company Bore Ltd is among the users of the new integration.
The companies said this will help reduce data entry, limit reporting errors and speed up compliance work.
"Every partnership we build comes back to the same question: does this make compliance easier for shipowners?” Risto-Juhani Kariranta, CEO of Ahti Climate, said.
“With Veracity by DNV, the answer is clearly yes - verified data, connected systems, and one less thing for our customers to worry about."
