Chemoil Confirms COO / CFO Resignation
Global marine fuel supplier Chemoil Energy Limited (Chemoil) has announced the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer Mats Henrik Berglund, with immediate effect.
Mr Berglund, 49, who replaced Jerome Lazatin Lorenzo on March 3, 2011, will join Pacific Basin Shipping Limited (Pacific Basin) as CEO.
The former CEO of the Hong Kong based marine transportation company, Klaus Nyborg, left the company on March 15, 2012.
Their March 22nd dated announcement said Berglund's arrival would be between "between 20 April 2012 and 3 July 2012", and Ship & Bunker understands that this will now be effective from June 1, 2012.
Prior to joining Chemoil, Mats Berglund was Senior Vice President and Head of Crude Transportation Strategic Business Unit at international shipping company OSG.
